Berkeley Lab participated in the 2025 Warriors’ STEAM Fest at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Sunday, March 9th. Lab employees shared their enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math with basketball fans of all ages. 

The Lab’s table highlighted its world-leading science, internship, and career opportunities. Additionally, visitors to the table engaged in hands-on activities, including a microscope station to explore common items up close and a banana piano that taught the principles of circuitry and electrical conductivity.

Approximately 8,000 people attended the game between the Santa Cruz Warriors and the Mexico City Capitanes, with over 200 families stopping by the Lab’s table. Our success was greatly attributed to the engagement and leadership of Lab employees who volunteered their time to help staff the table throughout the day.
